Measure, mark, and lay out reference points and lines for accurate work
Mix mortar or concrete to the right consistency
Lay bricks, blocks, or stones in the correct pattern and bond, using a trowel to apply mortar
Use levels, plumb lines, and squares to check alignment, verticality, and evenness
Cut and shape materials to fit around corners, openings, or custom designs
Install reinforcing rods (rebar) or wire mesh to strengthen structures
Apply weatherproofing and other finishing treatments
Repair and repoint existing brick/stone/concrete structures.
