Core responsibilities:
Install wiring, conduit, switches, outlets, fixtures, panels, transformers, motors, and control systems.
Inspect electrical components, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform repairs.
Install and maintain lighting, power distribution, and grounding systems.
Perform conduit bending, cable pulling, termination, and splicing.
Test circuits and systems using meters, insulation testers, megohmmeters, and clamp meters.
Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes; obtain/prepare permit documentation when required.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and report deficiencies.
Coordinate with general contractors, HVAC, and other trades on job sites.
Maintain job records, time sheets, and materials inventory.
