Laundry Attendant

Dry, cool, fold, press, and package linens, uniforms, and garments to presentation standards.
Inspect finished items for cleanliness, damage, and proper labeling; repair minor tears or report major damage.
Maintain accurate counts and inventory of linens; restock carts, closets, and service areas.
Collect soiled laundry from designated areas and deliver clean laundry to departments, rooms, or customers.
Keep laundry area, equipment, and supplies clean and organized; perform routine machine maintenance and report malfunctions.
Follow safety, infection control, and chemical handling procedures (PPE, MSDS).
Record processing times, loads completed, and any incidents as required.
Assist with inventory audits and loss prevention procedures.

Skills and competencies such as:  Time management and ability to handle high-volume workloads
Basic mechanical aptitude for routine equipment maintenance
Reliability and punctuality
Good communication and teamwork
Ability to follow written procedures and safety protocols.
