Core purpose:
Select and prepare packaging materials (boxes, shrink wrap, pallets, cushioning).
Operate packaging machinery (case sealers, labelers, stretch wrappers, banders) and perform basic setup and changeovers.
Apply labels, lot codes, barcodes, and shipping marks accurately.
Inspect items for defects, count/verify quantities, and reject or rework nonconforming product per quality procedures.
Stage and palletize shipments; prepare paperwork and electronic records (pack lists, manifests, inventory transactions).
Maintain clean, safe work area and follow GMP, HACCP, ISO, OSHA or site-specific safety/cleanroom requirements
