Core responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized treatment plans using exercise prescription, manual therapy, gait training, balance and posture retraining, modalities (heat, cold, TENS, ultrasound where appropriate), and patient education.
Monitor progress, modify treatment plans, and document outcomes in clinical records.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, ergonomics, and self-management strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, podiatrists, sports coaches) and make referrals when needed.
Maintain accurate clinical notes, complete outcome measures, and comply with data protection and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality improvement, audits, and continuing professional development.
