Job Purpose:
Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and professionally, ensure order accuracy, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, and provide courteous guest service in line with hotel policies.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in service areas (pantries, trolleys, service carts).
Replenish supplies (napkins, cutlery, condiments, trays, linens) and report shortages.
Process payment or charge requests as per hotel policy (including checks/authorizations if required).
Maintain confidentiality and security (e.g., not discussing guest information).
Coordinate with kitchen/housekeeping/front desk to resolve issues (missing items, delays, spills).
Comply with health and safety standards, including temperature control for hot/cold items.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Customer service skills and a professional, friendly attitude.
Good communication (speaking clearly with guests and team members).
Attention to detail (accuracy in orders and special requests).
Ability to work under pressure during peak meal times.
Basic numeracy (to handle bills/charges correctly if required).
Teamwork and reliability.
