Prepare treatment rooms and set up instrument trays.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
Seat patients, review medical/dental histories, and take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse).
Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, retracting tissues, and anticipating needs.
Take and process dental X-rays (radiographs), with proper radiation safety.
Take impressions for study models/casts.
