Chairside assistance: Hand instruments/materials to the dentist during exams, procedures, and treatments.
Patient support: Seat patients, prepare them for appointments, explain basic pre/post steps (as instructed).
Sterilization & infection control: Clean/disinfect surfaces, sterilize instruments, follow OSHA and clinic protocols.
X-rays & records:Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure quality.
Maintain/update patient charts and dental records.
Dental procedures: May assist with tasks like applying materials, taking impressions, placing/removing trays, etc
