Key responsibilities:
Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack, order picker) to move materials within the warehouse or yard.
Load/unload trucks, containers, railcars; stage inbound/outbound shipments.
Stack and place loads in racks or storage areas following load limits and stacking protocols.
Perform daily pre‑shift and post‑shift equipment inspections; report defects and arrange basic maintenance.
Verify SKUs, counts and labels when picking/receiving; update WMS/ERP or log manual records.
Secure loads and use restraints, tarps, straps as required.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout as applicable.
Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory and housekeeping of assigned areas.
