Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, accessibility standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability goals.
Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and other engineers/consultants; prepare contract documents and help select contractors.
Submit permit applications and respond to regulatory feedback.
Monitor construction progress through site visits, resolve design/construction issues, and ensure the built project matches the design intent and quality standards.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation; communicate progress and changes to clients.
