Core Duties and Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan layouts and installations.
Installing and maintaining wiring, conduits, control systems, lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, panels, and related equipment.
Inspecting electrical components (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers) and testing systems with tools like multimeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and thermal scanners.
Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical problems (faulty wiring, overloaded circuits, failed components).
Repairing or replacing wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand and power tools.
Following safety procedures (including lockout/tagout) and ensuring compliance with building and electrical codes.
