Typical Responsibilities
Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients
Assist cooks/chefs with basic food prep (measuring, portioning, mixing)
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
Keep kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment clean and sanitized
Empty trash and manage waste disposal properly
Receive, store, and organize food deliveries (stock rotation, labeling)
Maintain proper food storage temperatures
Set up and break down workstations before/after shifts.
