Operate mobile, tower, overhead, or crawler cranes to lift, move, and position loads
Inspect crane equipment daily (cables, hooks, brakes, hydraulics) before operation
Read and interpret load charts to ensure safe lifting capacity isn’t exceeded
Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and ground crew using hand signals or radio
Set up and level cranes, including outriggers and counterweights
Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues
Keep accurate logs of lifts, inspections, and maintenance.
