Typical Duties:
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Install conduit, wiring, panels, switches, outlets, lighting, and other electrical components
Pull and terminate cables (e.g., circuit wiring, low-voltage wiring, data/power wiring)
Mount electrical equipment such as breakers, distribution boards, and junction boxes
Ensure work complies with local electrical codes (e.g., NEC in the U.S.) and company standards
Perform testing and troubleshooting (continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, basic load checks)
Use tools safely: drills, cable cutters/strippers, crimpers, multimeters, megohmmeters (as applicable)
Maintain clean job sites and follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
