Key Responsibilities:
Design electrical systems (single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts where applicable)
Perform calculations/analysis (power, load, motor sizing, voltage drop, fault/short-circuit considerations)
Develop control systems and hardware interfaces (PLC/SCADA integration depending on role)
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems
Create and review technical documentation (specifications, BOMs, test reports, as-builts)
Ensure compliance with standards and codes (e.g., NEC/IEEE—depends on location/industry)
Collaborate with mechanical, software, civil, and project teams
Support procurement/vendor coordination and manage electrical installation requirements.
