Construction Labourer

Core responsibilities;

Move, load/unload, and stack materials (lumber, concrete, rebar, piping).
Dig, trench, backfill, compact soil, and prepare work areas.
Assist carpenters, concrete crews, masons, plumbers, electricians with tasks and material handling.
Operate basic hand and power tools (hammers, saws, drills, concrete tools).
Clean and maintain jobsite (remove debris, set up/tear down temporary barriers).
Erect/strip formwork, hold materials in place, and assist with lifting.
Set up and secure traffic control or temporary fencing when required.

Required skills such as:  Basic physical fitness and ability to lift 40–75+ lbs repeatedly.
Familiarity with common hand/power tools.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and take direction.
Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
