Primary duties & responsibilities:

Prepare patients for dental procedures; take medical/dental histories and update charts.
Assist the dentist chair-side during exams and procedures (hand instruments, operate suction, prepare materials).
Take, process, and mount dental radiographs (per state regulations) and digital images.
Sterilize and organize instruments; manage infection-control procedures (CDC/OSHA/ADA best practices).
Prepare and mix dental materials (e.g., cements, alginate impressions, restorative materials).
Perform basic lab tasks: impressions, pouring/trimming models, provisional lab work as allowed.

Required qualifications & skills includes; High school diploma or equivalent,  Chair-side assisting technique and instrument familiarity.
Radiography technique and safety.
Sterilization and aseptic technique.
Dental terminology and ADA procedure coding familiarity.
Time management, multitasking, and attention to detail.
Patient comfort, empathy, and ability to explain procedures simply.
Teamwork and following dental office workflows.
