Core responsibilities:
Mount and connect fixtures, junction boxes, circuit breakers and distribution boards.
Terminate and label cables, make splices, and connect to equipment per schematic.
Test circuits and systems with multimeters/megohmmeters/insulation testers and troubleshoot faults.
Commission new installations and verify continuity, polarity, insulation resistance and earthing.
Follow electrical codes and safety procedures; complete permits, inspection checklists and as-built records.
Coordinate with other trades, site supervisors and owners; maintain tools and materials inventory.
Perform preventive maintenance and replace defective components.
Required qualifications & skills
High school diploma or equivalent, Practical wiring, terminations and fault-finding skills.
Mechanical aptitude and good hand tools skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings.
Communication and teamwork; time management.
Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
