Primary Purpose:
Supervise and coordinate electricians and electrical technicians (planning, assigning work, tracking progress).
Ensure all electrical work follows safety standards (lockout/tagout, permits, PPE, LOTO procedures).
Perform quality checks on wiring, panels, circuits, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Read and interpret electrical drawings (single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams).
Maintain compliance with applicable standards (commonly NEC/NFPA, local codes, company procedures).
Manage tools, test instruments, and calibration/maintenance schedules (multimeter, insulation tester, megger, etc.).
Conduct/coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
