Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels, circuits, and industrial equipment.
Install, repair, and replace electrical components (cable, conduits, breakers, fuses, relays, contactors, transformers, sensors).
Inspect electrical systems for safety issues (loose connections, overheating, damaged insulation).
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Ensure work complies with electrical codes and safety regulations (e.g., lockout/tagout procedures).
Test equipment using multimeters, insulation testers, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
Support automation/controls work (basic PLC/HMI troubleshooting may be included, depending on the employer).
Coordinate with other maintenance staff and supervisors to meet downtime goals.
