Key responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and electrical code requirements.
Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduit, lighting, switches, receptacles, panels, motors, and control systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults using testing equipment and replace/repair defective parts.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and document work performed, coordinate with general contractors, site managers, and other trades to complete jobs on schedule.
Maintain inventory of parts and tools; order materials as needed.
Required qualifications & certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship OR equivalent technical training, wiring, conduit bending and installation.
Circuit analysis and fault finding.
Panel and breaker installation and testing.
Motor control, starters, VFD basics (for industrial roles).
Reading blueprints/schematics and schematics interpretation.
Use of test equipment: multimeter, clamp meter, megohmmeter, voltage tester.
