Forklift Operator

Key responsibilities:

Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down counterbalance, reach trucks, pallet jacks, order pickers) to move materials to/from storage, production, and shipping areas.
Load and unload trucks and containers; stack and position materials on racks and pallets according to load plans.
Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections; report defects and arrange basic maintenance.
Secure loads and verify weights, labels, and documentation for shipments and receipts.
Keep work areas clean and free of hazards; comply with 5S and housekeeping standards.
Follow all safety policies (PPE, lockout/tagout, traffic lanes), and participate in safety meetings.

Physical requirements includes: Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs (or more depending on role).
Work in indoor warehouse, occasionally outdoor yard; exposure to noise, temperature variation.
Shift work common—day, evening, night, or rotating schedules; overtime and weekend work may be required.
Fast-paced environment with tight shipping deadlines and Valid forklift certification.
