Primary Duties:
Conduct client intake, assess needs, medical history, and contraindications.
Develop individualized treatment plans and set treatment goals.
Perform massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point, myofascial release, prenatal, etc.) appropriate to client needs.
Maintain client records, document sessions and progress.
Educate clients on self-care, stretching, posture, and aftercare.
Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting treatment space; follow sanitation protocols.
Manage scheduling, billing, and client follow-up (if self-employed or in smaller clinics).
Collaborate with other health professionals (PTs, chiropractors, physicians) when in clinical settings.
Adhere to scope-of-practice, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
Required skills/qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent, Strong knowledge of human anatomy and contraindications.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Physical stamina and body mechanics to avoid injury.
Time management and basic business skills for independent practitioners.
