Core responsibilities:
Perform medication therapy management (MTM) and clinical reviews.
Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (DEA, FDA, HIPAA) and maintain accurate records.
Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Manage inventory, ordering, controlled-substance logs, and returns.
Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications when applicable, following USP standards.
Collaborate with prescribers and the healthcare team to resolve therapy issues and recommend alternatives.
Administer immunizations and point-of-care tests as permitted by law.
Participate in or lead quality-improvement, safety reporting, and medication error investigations.
