Key responsibilities:
Perform in-process quality checks and document results; remove nonconforming items.
Maintain production pace to meet daily/shift output goals while minimizing defects.
Keep work area clean and organized; follow 5S and housekeeping requirements.
Follow safety procedures, use required PPE, and participate in safety audits and incident reporting.
Complete basic production paperwork (production logs, checklists, material counts).
Assist with material handling: staging, restocking feed, and basic inventory counts.
Participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen teams, suggestions).
Typical qualifications & skills
High school diploma or equivalent, Ability to read labels, basic work instructions, and simple drawings.
Basic math (counting, measuring, simple arithmetic).
Manual dexterity and good hand–eye coordination.
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lb (specify per site).
Reliable, team-oriented, able to follow instructions and SOPs.
Basic troubleshooting and observational skills to spot defects.
