Core Responsibilities:
Greeting guests and seating them (or coordinating with hosts)
Presenting menus, explaining specials, and answering questions about dishes, ingredients, or allergens
Taking accurate food and drink orders
Relaying orders to kitchen/bar staff, often via POS systems
Serving food and beverages promptly and correctly
Checking in on guests during the meal, refilling drinks, and addressing requests
Processing payments, splitting bills, and handling cash/card transactions
Clearing and resetting tables between guests
Upselling specials, desserts, or drinks when appropriate.
