Cyber security Analyst

Core Responsibilities:

Monitoring: Continuously watching network traffic, systems, and logs for suspicious activity or signs of intrusion using tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) platforms
Threat detection & analysis: Identifying potential vulnerabilities, malware, and attack patterns before they cause damage
Incident response: Investigating security breaches when they occur, containing the damage, and helping with recovery
Vulnerability assessment: Running scans and penetration tests to find weaknesses in systems before attackers do
Risk assessment: Evaluating the organization’s overall security posture and recommending improvements.
