Kitchen Steward

Warewashing — Operate commercial dishwashers; hand-wash pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and flatware; sort, dry, polish, and store clean items.
Kitchen cleaning and sanitation — Clean floors, walls, drains, work surfaces, prep stations, ovens, grills, stoves, refrigerators, freezers, hoods, and other equipment. Perform deep cleans on a schedule.
Waste management — Empty trash, recycling, and compost; keep disposal areas clean; handle grease and food waste safely.
Inventory and storage support — Assist with receiving deliveries; organize and rotate stock in storage areas; maintain supplies of cleaning chemicals, dishware, and utensils; restock stations.
Equipment care — Report maintenance issues or hazards; ensure equipment is in good working order.
