Core Responsibilities:
Operating packaging equipment — setting up, running, and adjusting machines like fillers, sealers, labelers, wrappers, cartoners, and palletizers
Monitoring production lines — watching for jams, misalignments, or defects and making real-time adjustments
Quality control — inspecting packaged products for correct weight, seal integrity, labeling accuracy, and overall appearance; pulling samples for testing
Following SOPs — adhering to standard operating procedures, especially in regulated industries (food safety, GMP for pharma, etc.)
Basic maintenance — performing routine cleaning, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting or repairs on machinery.
