Painter

Prepare surfaces: cleaning, sanding, scraping old paint, filling holes/cracks, taping and masking areas not to be painted
Select and mix paints, stains, and finishes to match specifications or color codes
Apply primer and paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Set up and work from ladders, scaffolding, or lifts for elevated surfaces
Protect furniture, flooring, and fixtures with drop cloths/coverings
Estimate the amount of paint/materials needed for a job
Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and coverage
Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
