Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting and seating guests (or escorting them to tables), presenting menus, and explaining daily specials or promotions.
Taking accurate food and drink orders (including special requests, modifications, and dietary/allergy notes) and entering them into a POS system or relaying them to the kitchen/bar.
Recommending menu items, answering questions about ingredients, preparation, allergens, and pairings.
Delivering food and beverages promptly and correctly, often carrying multiple plates or trays.
Checking on guests during the meal, refilling drinks, addressing needs or complaints, and ensuring satisfaction.
