Key Responsibilities:
Prepare orders for shipment: pick items, pack them securely, and label packages correctly
Verify shipment contents against packing slips, invoices, or purchase orders
Weigh and measure packages to determine shipping costs
Complete shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, shipping labels)
Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight lines, etc.) to schedule pickups
Track outgoing shipments and update inventory/order status in the system
Inspect goods for damage or defects before shipping
Maintain accurate records of shipped items, tracking numbers, and delivery confirmations.
