Safety Manager

Core Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety programs — policies, procedures, and safety management systems aligned with regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA in the US, or equivalent bodies elsewhere)
Conduct risk assessments — identify hazards in the workplace and evaluate exposure risks
Inspections and audits — regularly inspect facilities, equipment, and work practices for compliance
Incident investigation — lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and injuries; determine root cause and corrective actions
Training and education — design and deliver safety training programs.
