Core Responsibilities:
Take food and beverage orders from guests by phone, tablet, or app, and relay them accurately to the galley (kitchen)
Prepare trays/trolleys with the correct items, condiments, and utensils
Deliver orders promptly to guest cabins/suites, following ship etiquette (knocking, announcing “Room Service”)
Set up trays neatly, explain dishes if asked, and ensure orders match what was requested
Collect used trays and dishes from corridors and cabins
Handle special requests: dietary restrictions, allergies, celebration orders (cakes, champagne), VIP or suite-level service.
