Industrial Mechanic

Core job duties:

Inspects machines and equipment to identify wear, abnormal noise, vibration, leaks, misalignment, or faults.
Performs preventive maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning, tightening, alignment, belt/chain adjustment, and scheduled parts replacement.
Troubleshoots mechanical breakdowns in production equipment, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, turbines, mixers, and packaging machines.
Dismantles machinery, repairs or replaces defective parts—such as bearings, seals, shafts, gears, couplings, belts, chains, valves, and pulleys—and reassembles the equipment.
Installs, positions, levels, aligns, and commissions new industrial machinery.
