Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan layouts, calculate material quantities, and determine dimensions.
Measure work areas, mark guidelines and reference points, and set out foundations, patterns, or forms.
Mix mortar, grout, or other bonding agents to the correct consistency.
Cut, shape, and prepare bricks, blocks, stone, or other masonry units using hand tools (trowels, hammers, chisels) and power tools (saws).
Lay materials in level, plumb, and aligned courses (rows), applying mortar and ensuring proper bonding, spacing, and structural integrity.
