Core Responsibilities:
Diagnosing oral health issues using exams, X-rays, and other diagnostic tools
Treating cavities, gum disease, and other dental problems (fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns)
Preventive care — cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and patient education on oral hygiene
Cosmetic procedures — teeth whitening, veneers, alignment consultations
Prescribing medications like antibiotics or pain relievers when needed
Referring patients to specialists (orthodontists, oral surgeons, periodontists) for complex cases.
