Key responsibilities / duties
Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance (lubrication, adjustments, inspections) on mechanical and electrical equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, conveyors, pumps, motors, HVAC systems, and control systems.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and work overtime/on-call as required to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Complete, update, and close work orders in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Install, adjust, and calibrate equipment and replacement components.
Perform basic welding, fabrication, and carpentry as needed.
Maintain tools, parts inventory, and spare parts records; request parts as required.
