Excavator Operator

Key Responsibilities:

Operating Machinery – Safely operating excavators and related heavy equipment according to company and OSHA standards
Digging & Grading – Excavating trenches, foundations, or pits; grading and leveling surfaces as required
Material Handling – Moving earth, gravel, sand, or debris to designated locations using buckets or attachments
Machine Maintenance – Performing routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on equipment
Site Preparation – Clearing land, removing obstacles, and preparing sites as per instructions or blueprints
Safety Protocols – Following safety guidelines to prevent accidents, including using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Communication – Working closely with ground crew, supervisors, and other machine operators to coordinate tasks.
