Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
Assist dentist during exams and procedures (suction, retract, hand instruments).
Mix and pass dental materials (cements, alginates, impression materials, temporary restorations).
Take and process dental radiographs (x‑rays) if licensed/authorized.
Take preliminary impressions, make bite registrations; pour and trim models when required.
Monitor and record vital signs as needed; maintain patient charts and procedure notes.
Ensure strict infection control: sterilize instruments, manage autoclave logs, follow OSHA/CDC protocols.
Monitor and maintain dental equipment; report malfunctions.
