Key Responsibilities and Duties
Operate and monitor machinery: Set up equipment according to work orders, SOPs (standard operating procedures), or setup sheets; start/stop machines; adjust parameters (speed, temperature, pressure, etc.) within authorized limits; monitor gauges, HMI screens, or process indicators.
Quality control and inspection: Perform in-process and final checks (visual, dimensional, weight, fill levels); identify and report defects or out-of-spec products; ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
Material handling and assembly: Load/unload materials, assemble components or products, package and label finished goods, and sometimes operate forklifts or pallet jacks.
