Core responsibilities:
Install and repair pipes, fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers), water heaters, and appliances like dishwashers or washing machines
Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
Read blueprints to plan pipe layouts for new construction
Cut, thread, and join pipes using various materials (copper, PVC, PEX)
Test systems for leaks and proper function using pressure gauges
Ensure work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
Handle emergency repairs.
