Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Scrape, rinse, sort, and load dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and utensils into commercial dishwashing machines (or wash by hand when needed, especially delicate items, large pots, or wooden cutting boards).
Unload clean items, dry/polish as required, and store them properly so kitchen and service staff have a steady supply.
Maintain the dish area and broader kitchen cleanliness: empty trash/recycling, sweep/mop floors, clean spills, wipe surfaces, and sanitize equipment (e.g., mixers, coffee machines, prep stations).
