Key Responsibilities:
Install electrical wiring, circuits, and components (panels, switches, outlets, lighting).
Read blueprints, diagrams, and electrical codes to plan installations and repairs.
Troubleshoot electrical faults (no power, short circuits, faulty breakers, wiring issues).
Repair or replace electrical parts like breakers, transformers, motors, and wiring.
Test electrical systems using tools such as multimeters, testers, and circuit analysers.
Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas; follow PPE and safe work practices.
Required Skills & Qualification
Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training, Strong knowledge of electrical principles (voltage, circuits, wiring, load calculations).
Ability to use hand and power tools safely (drills, conduit tools, wire strippers, meters).
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
