Steward

 Responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen and service areas, washing dishes and equipment, managing stewarding supplies and refuse, supporting food-safety and hygiene standards, and assisting the kitchen brigade to keep operations running smoothly.

Maintain and monitor stewarding equipment (pot washers, pass-through dishwashers, glass washers) and report faults; perform basic preventative cleaning/maintenance.
Manage waste and recycling, including food waste separation, compactor/bin handling and timely removal to designated areas.

Required skills & attributes;  Attention to hygiene and detail; disciplined about cross-contamination avoidance.
Able to follow written procedures and checklists (HACCP/food safety).
Physical stamina — standing for long periods.
Team player, reliable, punctual, works under pressure during peak service.
