Construction Manager

Core responsibilities:

Contract & subcontractor management: select, negotiate, and manage subcontractors and suppliers; ensure contracts are followed.
Health, safety & compliance: implement and enforce site safety plans (e.g., OSHA), ensure permits/inspections are completed and regulations met.
Quality assurance: implement QA/QC procedures and conduct inspections to meet specifications and drawings.
Stakeholder communication: coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors and clients; provide regular progress reports.
Risk management: identify risks, propose mitigations, manage delays and disputes.
Documentation: maintain daily logs, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, change orders, and closeout documentation.
Commissioning & handover: coordinate commissioning, training, as-built drawings and warranty handover.

Required qualifications & skills

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field,  Leadership: manage and motivate crews and subcontractors.
Communication: clear written and verbal reporting to stakeholders.
Organization & planning: strong time-management and sequencing ability.
Problem-solving: decisive, practical solutions under pressure.
Commercial acumen: cost control, materials procurement and negotiation.
