Typical responsibilities:
Manage lab staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
Supervise sample handling, testing procedures, and equipment use
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and accreditation requirements
Maintain inventory of supplies, reagents, instruments, and maintenance schedules
Monitor workflows to improve productivity, turnaround time, and accuracy
