Install wiring, conduit, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, motors, and control systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Inspect electrical systems for hazards, code violations, and proper operation.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions; perform repairs and component replacements.
Test electrical systems using multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools.
Perform preventive maintenance and recommend upgrades or improvements.
Coordinate with general contractors, site supervisors, and other trades.
Required skills and Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training in electrical work , Strong knowledge of electrical theory, AC/DC systems, and circuitry.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical drawings.
Proficient with hand and power tools, meters, testers, and conduit-bending tools.
Problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
