Factory Worker

Performs manufacturing, assembly, packaging, inspection, and basic machine-operation tasks to produce goods according to production schedules and quality standards. Works on a production line or in a shop environment under supervision.

Core responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
Assemble products or components following work instructions, blueprints, or build sheets.
Inspect parts and finished goods for defects; remove defective items and report quality issues.
Pack, label, palletize, and prepare products for shipping.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow 5S/LEAN practices if used.
Record production counts, scrap, downtime, and any nonconformities in logs or systems.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety procedures, and quality standards.
Assist with inventory stock counts, material handling, and restocking of workstations.

Required skills and attributes:

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn how machines work.
Good manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work reliably on shift schedules (including nights/rotating shifts if required).
Teamwork, punctuality, and basic problem-identification skills.
