Core Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils (dishwasher and/or by hand).
Maintain cleanliness of the dish pit, floors, drains, and back-of-house areas.
Sort, store, and remove trash and recyclables properly.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas (as assigned).
Assist with basic prep tasks if needed (e.g., stocking, utensil breakdown, ingredient labeling).
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (including proper chemical handling).
Maintain sufficient supply levels (detergent, sanitizer, soap, trash liners).
Support kitchen staff during peak service by keeping items ready and organized.
Report damaged items, sanitation issues, or maintenance needs to supervisors.
Required skills:
Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
Basic teamwork and communication.
Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
